I just purchased a new UV-5R. It works OK so far, but when I plug the earphone in, I cannot hear any sound and the PTT button does not work. Is it just faulty or is there some setting to get it to work?

Please make sure the headphone pins are pressed in all the way. If it still doesn't work you can contact us at [email protected]
